Love and Logic - two stuffs of human mind. They are neither competitor nor substitute for each other. They are the counter parts.

Love is not passion. Love is the intelligence of emotions. It's an emotional understanding of something - Wisdom.

Logic is a cerebral understanding - Knowledge.

Human mind can't work with one component only. It needs both.

Who operates these two?

Soul - the central psychic being. A central force of consciousness. A static force. But when it's in functional mode it's divided in these two parts - logic and love.

So, in Indian philosophy Soul is Sat Chit Ananda. Sat is that static condition. Chit is logical part. And Ananda is love. It's the complete being.

Passion is a blind force of instinct. It's not the emotions. Though sometimes it resembles with emotions. But in reality it's not. Peace is absence of passion. The true nature of emotional being.

Thought is not logic. Though again it resembles with logic. Thought is a repetitive process of memory. Absence of thought is peace. The true nature of logical being.

And finally absence of both logic and love is the meditative condition of Self. The absolute state of human inner being. Absolute peaceful state - in Indian terminology - Samadhi

And morality is to live with this peaceful state. Dharma - to live and to let live others peacefully.

The functional state of peace is called compassion - the finest and highest source of energy.

The eternally static and balanced condition of all existence is collectively called God or Brahman in religion (scriptures). It exists only in the conception of infinity. So it emerges simultaneously as the conception of eternal force of compassion. The eternal peace with infinite compassion.
